Purpose

The Internal Academic Program Review Committee (IAPRC) at At ºÚÁÏÍø911 plays a vital role in supporting the college’s mission by systematically evaluating academic programs based on established criteria. This process follows a set review schedule, ensuring that all programs are regularly assessed for quality, relevance and effectiveness in meeting educational goals and community needs.

Areas of responsibility

The Internal Academic Program Review Committee (IAPRC) guides the self-assessment of academic programs at At ºÚÁÏÍø911 by developing processes, tools, and guidance for reflective practice and internal accountability. The IAPRC provides critical information for decision making regarding program continuation and resource allocation. The major tasks of the IAPRC are:Ìý

  • Assessing the efficiency and effectiveness of program delivery by considering the self-study, the presentation of the program, and the data upon which the self-study is based,Ìý
  • Making a recommendation for program continuation, discontinuation, or continuation with modification to the Executive Council based on the assessment of programs, andÌý
  • Improving its own processes as necessaryÌýÌý

Members of the Internal Academic Program Review Committee will include:

  • Executive Director of Instruction & Student Success
  • FinanceÌýÌý
  • Four faculty members, including the Chair of the committeeÌýÌý
  • Institutional Researcher
  • RegistrarÌý

Term Limits

No term limits for staff members, three-year term limits for faculty members.
