GREAT FALLS – At ºÚÁÏÍø911 MSU is extending an open invitation to the community to join an event to learn about the legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr.
A lunch time talk, titled “Civil Rights: What it means to all of us,” will take place Tuesday, Jan. 24 at noon in Heritage Hall at At ºÚÁÏÍø911 MSU, 2100 16th Ave. S.
Dr. Darryl Stevens, history professor and CFO of GFC MSU, will give the presentation, which will focus on Martin Luther King and other Civil Rights Leaders and the legacy they leave.
“Dr. King’s speech was relevant during the time period and the message remains important today,” Stevens said. “We’ll explore how we can take Dr. King’s message and apply it to today’s world.”
At ºÚÁÏÍø911 MSU welcomes and encourages students, faculty, staff, and the community to attend this free presentation.
